GSD endeavours to carry out repair and maintenance activities as quickly as possible and with as little impact as possible on the fulfilment of the Storage Customer's storage requirements.

2023 - 2024 UPDATE

Reduced injection and withdrawal capacity due to maintenance work in 7 days in October 2023:

 

  • Start: 1st October 2023 at 06.00 a.m. Danish time
  • End:   8th October 2023 at 06.00 a.m. Danish time

Reduction:

 

  • INJECTION: minimum 82% of the booked firm injection capacity will be available
  • WITHDRAWAL: minimum 73% of the booked firm withdrawal capacity will be available

2023 - 2024

Our maintenance plan for SY23 involves activities on shift allowing full availability of the marketable capacities. Therefore there will be no restrictions in terms of customers’ booked firm capacities.

 

2022 - 2023

Our maintenance plan for SY22 involves activities on shift allowing full availability of the marketable capacities. Therefore there will be no restrictions in terms of customers’ booked firm capacities.

 

2021 - 2022

Our maintenance plan for SY21 involves activities on shift allowing full availability of the marketable capacities. Therefore there will be no restrictions in terms of customers’ booked firm capacities.

 

2020 - 2021

Our maintenance plan for SY20 involves activities on shift allowing full availability of the marketable capacities.

Therefore there will be no restrictions in terms of customers’ booked firm capacities.


2019 - 2020

Our maintenance plan for SY19 involves activities on shift allowing full availability of the marketable capacities.

Therefore there will be no restrictions in terms of customers’ booked firm capacities.

2018 - 2019

The maintenance plan for the storage year from 1 May 2018 to 30 April 2019 implies no restriction in terms of customers’ booked firm capacities.

Our internal planning for storage year 2018/19 involves maintenance activities that will be carried out in shifts between our storage facilities allowing us to keep customers’ booked injection and withdrawal capacity available all the time.

2017 - 2018

The maintenance plan for the storage year from 1 May 2017 to 30 April 2018 implies no restriction in terms of customers’ booked firm capacities.

Gas Storage Denmark operates two storage facilities, an aquifer and a cavern, as one storage point. It offers the advantage of handling maintenance and restrictions without affecting our customers too much.

Our internal planning for storage year 2017/18 involves maintenance activities that will be carried out in shifts between the two storage facilities allowing us to keep customers’ booked injection and withdrawal capacity available all the time.

PUBLICATION

In December each year we provide information about the planned periods for repair and maintenance activities with respect to the next storage year, which starts on the 1st of April the following year.
