Storage bookings for SY22 are at 6500 GWh, of which 1000 GWh are on call-options, which currently leaves 2775 GWh for sale, see link.

With SY22 fast approaching, GSD will launch a tender for the remaining unsold storage capacity with our standard price of 3.00 €/MWh for the 170/170 product. While we recognize that the current SW spread remains extremely low, gas storage remains significantly more valuable than what is captured by this spread, which has rarely been more obvious than it is now. Current pricing will not change throughout SY22.

For this tender we introduce a tiered pricing scheme that depend on the length of the booking, starting at 8% reduced storage price for a 3-years contract, increasing with 2%-points for every year the contract is extended, up to a maximum 14% for a 6-years or longer contract. This has the purpose of sharing the risk between the investment in a storage booking on the storage costumer’s part, and the long-term investments associated with offering storage capacity on GSD’s part.

24 February at 11:00 a.m. and ends at 12:00 a.m. Danish time
