95% storage filling SEP'22

HIGH RISK FOR INTERRUPTION OF VOLUME USED ON INTERRUPTIBLE TERMS

THE STORAGE FILLING IS MOVING ARROUND THE 95%

The filling level of the storage facilities has reached 95%-limit and currently is moving just above and below the limit.

When the storage filling is on or above the limit it is no longer possible to store gas on interruptible terms.

Therefore, all storage customers planning to use INTERRUPTIBLE VOLUME CAPACITY during SEPTEMBER-OCTOBER, may face a higher probability of interruption.

In such case, GSD will give 5 Gas Days’ notice (“Termination Notice”) prior to demanding that storage customers release the used interruptible volume capacity. On the 6th days at 06:00 am, after received Termination Notice, the storage customers must start a daily withdrawal of at least 1/5 of the gas occupying interruptible volume capacity during the next 5 days. Naturally, the storage customers may choose to release a higher rate than the requested 1/5.

Also, the storage customers may choose to transfer the gas to other storage customers in storage or acquire more firm volume capacity from GSD, if available, or receive more firm volume capacity from other storage customers in storage by arranging a transfer of capacity.

In any case, the storage customers will receive at least 10 days to release any occupied interruptible volume capacity.

Finally, if there is still any gas stored on interruptible terms 10 days after received Termination Notice, GSD will be entitled to apply clause 5.3.4 in GTCGS about compulsory sale of the stored gas to GSD.

Please note, that any nominated INJECTION CAPACITY will also be affected in case the storage customers encounter interruption of used INTERRUPTIBLE VOLUME CAPACITY.
