As is customary when the end of injection season approaches, GSD has reassessed the expected performance of our two sites for the rest of the season. Based on the favorable gas composition of the already stored Natural Gas, GSD is pleased to announce that our reservoir specialists have identified the opportunity for daily incremental injection of additionally 80 GWh in total.

The capacity will be offered for sale on more than one daily auction, the first one on the 11^th of October 2023 with daily deadline for submitting bids at 14.00 Danish time. Successful participants are expected to inject an amount of Natural Gas corresponding to the won Firm Volume Capacity on the next gas day.

There will be more than one daily auction as the injection needs to be performed at a slow pace. On each auction day, GSD will inform individual participants about their auction result at 15.00 Danish time.

In addition, GSD will inform the market about the volume weighted price of the daily auction and the offered capacity on the next day’s auction. The daily auctions will be pay-as-bid auctions.
