95% FILLING LEVEL IS CLOSE TO BEING REACHED

HIGH RISK FOR INTERRUPTION OF VOLUME CAPACITY USED ON INTERRUPTIBLE TERMS

Dear Storage Customer,

Please note that, when the filling level reaches 95% (9,429 GWh) it will no longer be possible to store gas on interruptible terms.

Therefore, all storage customers using INTERRUPTIBLE VOLUME CAPACITY will face a higher probability of interruption during the next few days.

In case of restriction activation, GSD will give 5 gas days’ notice (“Withdrawal Notice”) prior to demanding that storage customers release the used interruptible volume capacity. On the 6th day at 06:00 am (after receiving the Withdrawal Notice), the storage customers must start a daily withdrawal of at least 1/5 of the gas occupying interruptible volume capacity during the next 5 days. If relevant, the storage customers may choose to release a higher rate than the requested 1/5.

Alternatively, the storage customers may choose to transfer the gas to other storage customers in storage or acquire more firm volume capacity from GSD, if available, or receive more firm volume capacity from other storage customers in storage by arranging a transfer of volume capacity.

In any case, the storage customers will receive at least 10 days (5 days’ notice + another 5 days for withdrawal) to release any occupied interruptible volume capacity.

Finally, if there is still any gas stored on interruptible terms 10 days after received Withdrawal Notice, GSD will be entitled to apply clause 5.3.4 in GTCGS about compulsory sale of the stored gas to GSD.

Please contact us in case of any questions.
