After 120 days expansion of the aquifer reservoir of the storage facility in Stenlille, GSD is pleased to announce that the project closed today 29th October 2020 at 06:00.

During the expansion, the storage customers involved in the project successfully injected 443 GWh cushion gas, creating an additional storage capacity of 295.128 GWh for their utilization during the remaining part of SY20 and in SY21.

After having concluded the expansion, GSD’s storage inventory increases by 2.9% from 10,162.710 GWh before 1st July 2020 to 10,457.838 GWh after 29th October 2020.

In addition, it is important to note that the injection restriction due to reached 95% filling level is expected to take effect from 31st October 2020 at 06:00. The storage customer will receive an automatic operational mail regarding the matter from GSD’s operational system. The storage customers may also use the diagram Expected Availability to follow GSD’s prognoses for the repeal of the injection restriction.
